My name is Paul Daniel - I am an Oslo-based product design engineer with over 20 years experience working predominantly in small-team consulting environments. Previous clients have spanned a wide range of market segments including sports and outdoors, business and technology, consumer electronics, retail and some FMCG.
My core competency lies within the technical development phases of a project and I have extensive experience in all but the most esoteric forms of metals and plastics processing for both low and high-volume applications, as well as sourcing and setup of contract manufacturing in EU and Asia.
"What is he talking about?" you may ask. Let me dumb it down: I help make actual, physical products. After getting a brief from a client, I can spend time thinking, sketching, 3D modelling, prototyping, rendering, sourcing or liasing with suppliers, specifiying minute technical details for manufacture, testing, visiting factories, authoring documentation for production, helping with IPR processes and more. The scope of the project defines which of these processes are needed.
Some previous clients I have worked with include Cisco, DEFA, Oyster, Acano, Knog, WB Samson.
